I was born on October 25th, 1973 in Seattle, WA, and have lived here pretty much my whole life! I graduated from Ingraham High in 1992 (yes, you read that right), attended U.W. and earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts, then went to W.W.U. to earn my Masters in Education. I also obtained my National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification in 2008. My wife, Amy, is a family law attorney (not a rich one), my daughter, Eleanor, is four-and-a-half, and my pug Chi is probably sleeping at home right now, and I love them all. I also love games, art, music, theater, movies...ANYTHING creative! I teach because I want our world to be a better place. I love life. I love our planet. I love that our world is so full of interesting things, places and people. I want my students to become important pieces in the puzzle that is humanity. I want my students to become intelligent, interesting human beings, and to make a positive impact in our world.
